This was a fun one to write. Generous friends gave us a timeshare in Mexico at an amazing location. Walking distance to the ocean (through a sandy trail.) It was paradise. When we returned home the song found its way into something I was playing on the guitar and before I knew it, words about "sandy paths" started coming and "Footprints" was born. Always fun to perform too!
Parts of the video were recorded on a small beach at a pond in CT and the ocean shots were from Misquamicut Beach in RI. (We had fun making that video too...)
